About Rovers

Rovers is a place for adults between the ages of 18-26 to socialise and build skills with other individuals, whilst part taking in numerous amounts of activities that scouting and the crew provides.

In Turbo Rovers we part take in camps organised by scouting, as participants (racing, weekends away, outdoor expeditions) and also preform service by volunteering at camps and activities for other sections of scouting. We are self-governed and self run doing activities/events like; fundraisers, crew camps, hikes, social nights and organise many activities.

Some of the activities that we have done recently include:

• Rock Climbing
• Bowling
• Golf
• Escape Rooms
• Paintball

And various other activities.

Uniform

Members of Turbo rover crew do wear a uniform but it is worn on formal occasions, such as Annual Reports and Presentation nights, business meetings and whilst interacting with youth members as part of service on a camp or activity.Uniform can be purchased from the Scout Shop online.

All Members should dress appropriately for the type of activity in which they are participating.
